AmeriCorps Project

The AmeriCorps Parent Engagement Project is funded through a grant from ServeWyoming.

The team is tasked with supplementing the work of Child Care Finder by engaging and empowering parents on the topic of quality in child care.

The AmeriCorps Team in 2011:

§Provided 36 parent workshops to 160 parents

§Established a 15 member Parent Panel to advocate on early childhood

§Participate in National Days of Service, such as 9/11, throughout the state
